A few minutes picking the right photos makes a meaningful difference. Here's exactly what to send and what to skip.
Do this
Use clear, well-lit photos.
- 5+ photos per person, multiple angles
- Eyes open, neutral expressions and smiles
- Mix of close-up and chest-up framing
- Natural light or soft indoor light
- JPG, PNG, or WEBP — up to 15 MB each
- Couples: 3+ photos together
Avoid this
Skip distorted faces.
- Heavy filters or beauty smoothing
- Sunglasses, hats, or hands covering the face
- Multiple unrelated faces in the same shot
- Low-resolution screenshots
- Group selfies where faces are tiny
- Blurry or motion-shake photos
Technical specs
The fine print.
- Formats: JPG, PNG, WEBP. HEIC from iPhones auto-converted.
